Dual Spec - Maybe not.

Well that is from 1 raid to another raid, which sad as it is,if you do hard-mode you have to adjust :)

Maly10 - 1/2 tanks,Sarth10 - 1/2 tanks,Naxx10 - 2 tanks

Specific gear lvls and performance-wise may affect the specific loadout but this is about the load you'd expect

Sarth3D is a hardmode raid so the load can differ from the default raid

Or Naxx25 where you only really need 2 Tanks most of the time so whoever is 3rd Tank feels like a spare wheel most of the night.

And this people, is why a high school education is supposed to be compulsory, and that a required subject is English, the syllabus for which includes COMPREHENSION

Again, read my post and my other posts on this subject in this thread, very slowly this time, take the time to digest and think a little about what was said, and then point out exactly where I "QQ" about dual speccing, where I once intimate in any way, shape, form, fashion, or manner that I don't think it's a great thing.

Or I'll give you the TL: DNR version here if you want, save you the effort of trying to figure out plain English : dual specc = good, QQ by people who think it's bad = teh sukk.

Clear enough for you now?

Since when did I assert that you were QQ'ing? You should take some of your own advice.

A tertiary education comes in handy :)

Let's make this simple:

I think we can all agree:
  • Being able to change your spec in 1 second before every boss encounter is a very valuable trait to have as a raid member.
  • As a raid member you want to be the most flexible, valuable and best player you can be.

So we can say two things:
  • If you want to be a better player for your raid, then having a off-spec achieves this.
  • If you don't have an off-spec, you're not trying to be a better player.

In very casual guilds who just mess around this isn't an issue. You can have your one-spec and everyone just deals with it. But if you want to take it up a step and improve yourself, an off-spec will be required.

That's what I'm not happy about.

That's an interesting point, because it kinda sorta diminishes the WoW=EZMode argument.

Playing a hybrid and having to know how to heal, even if you rolled to be a tank, for example, will add an extra element of difficulty to the game.

Unless the issue is choice, and you don't want to heal, even though you rolled a class that can. At which point we start exploring 'l2play ur class' territory. ;)

Man it's going to be a lovely fight when awesome melee dps gear drops and the loot master says "Main spec roll 1st" ... check every prot pally&warrio , resto druids&shammies klap that 'swap spec' button :D

Dual spec means I can have a hybrid Priest

DPS/Healer LFG

Forget about dps. If your class can heal, you will likely only ever heal. This game is so short on healers, it's unfunny. This entire weekend in LFG channel, every single bleat was 'lf healer for xyz'.

Dualspec for healers will only really be useful for your solo grinding.

+ 1 ;)

So true
