Is it possible to have two users connected to the same PC at once?

As in one PC box (CPU etc) with two keyboards and two mouses and two screens but the two users have their own 'session' and it seems as if they are using their own machine?

[edit] oh and it must be windows.... no time for learning freaky things like ubuntu or mac....

You can have some winterms connecting to a 2003 server. I don't know how many sessions you can have off one xp pro pc.

not without additional hardware

i forget the name of the thing now, but when i get to work i'll update this thread. the one i have seen is a pci card, with power-over-ethernet connectors (x4 fo them, for 4 users)

you then run a lan cable to this little box, which has the ps2 ports, and audio and vga...and it logs into the windows machine and you have another session running, concurrently, as if it was two seperate machine. very useful in schools...one machine can serve 5 children (one on the system, and 4 kids via the pci card)

<edit>
that the one pilgrim posted...
