Dungeon Keeper Remake

So how long are we gonna wait?:D:D

Playing DKII atm:cool::cool:, but 1 was definitely better
 
I think its still gonna be a while... AFAIK the main programmer on the engine is busy with other stuff. I only check the forum there one every few weeks though.
 
DK 1 Was one of the first games i bought for my P2 266Mhz. Ahh my PC was a beast back then.

Brilliant game!

1 year if we lucky, banking on 2 years, 3 years if there are problems.

I'm doing the intro cinematic and 3D Modeling all by myself unfortunately :(
 
Cool. Most rewarding game ever, you just wanted to get to see what the next level's top creature would be like. Those mistresses were hilarious. Man and converting an enemy's creature to your side. Wicked game.

:) bugger, still trying to drag him away for AoE1-3 and Homeworld (and he is only 8 :) )

Let me know if you need help... not joining the community but i might be able to model some stuff. DK is one of my favourite games
 
I also loved the fact you could posses your creatures. My favourites were the vampires and those dark elf assassin guys. You could destroy with a high level vampire.

LOL!!! never too you :) he is currently watching LoTR DVD's (the special editions) and if you want to challange him ask him about any unit in AoE or Red Alert, WarCraft etc :) He can rattle off their HP, DP, etc :) He amazes me in what he can suck up and rmbr, he has never done the ONYIXIA fight in WoW but from watching me, he can tell me what is going to happen next and what to do!

Better Mentor Voice, better game dynamics. the overall feel is also better IMO - DK2's 3D Models didn't do it for me.

plus the fact that you "Summon" the horned reaper was silly.

also got a few creature cuts - no ghost, no tentacle, no hellhound or demon spawn ?

the game also felt a lot slower. that's why DK1 > DK2. EA screwed DK2 up badly.

Keeper, I TOTALLY agree with you on DK1 >> DK2. From what I remember, Bullfrog did DK1. EA bought Bullfrog (or something like that. The rights to DK maybe?). EA made DK2. DK2 sucked. :p

On an almost unrelated note: let's hope the same doesn't happen to future Bioware and Blizzard games.
