I did my first Dungeon with Pitbull being the solo noob i skrewed up
i selected NEED everytime instead of GREED and everybody got pissed
and left so we had to form another party and try again this time i sticked to GREED.

I thougth greed is bad and NEED is good. :D

I got that figured out.

Yesterday i tried the wavering caverns in the barrens with a bunch of random noobs i picked up at crossroads we went in deep and when i checked my back everyone was gone and i was stuck cause there was 4
monsters lvl 17 and i am a lvl18 druid there was like no way for me to get out i tried like 12 times then i had to pay the price.

Guys need some tips on how to do these Dungeons cause i have to do like 5 quests inside wavering caverns?

LOL...

That was fun to watch :D

I tried to explain it to you in game but it's rather difficult there so I'll try and post it here.

Every class has a armour prof.

Rogue & Druid = Leather
Warrior Pala = Mail & Plate
Shammy = Mail and Leather (Not to sure)
Priest & Lock = Cloth

Now with that in mind it's devided into sub classes if you want to call it that

Leather will drop with certain + Stats

a Rogue would need on something like + Stamina and + Agillity
a Druid would need on +Intellect + Stamina or + Healing ect.

Also when it comes to weapons you only need on what you can use.
Druid = Staffs people will get pissed if you need on a sword ect.

Read in the manual you got with the game, Check the druid build. It will tell you which clas of armour you need and what + u would use.
Then start from there

Dr00d can need on +agl+stamina ANYTIME (for cat and bear form).
And in WC drops the Embracing the viper set. BEST twink dr00d set.
Mate just remember pugs sux finnosh en klaar.

Try getting in a premade of your guild
Or let a high lvl guidie boost you through ,on insek (my main) I boost noobs through WC as main tank and healer and I am a priest. SO lvl 50+dr00d or warrior should suffice.

I solo WC easy on my lvl 42 Rogue :D

I had a bad habbit of seeing how many mobs i can have pounding on my paladin (lvl 70) when i used to be protection with holy shield up and retri aura.
I have succeeded in getting the whole of shadowfang upto the big wolf boss. And i walked away. Having healed only once. :P
What can i say , i had to do something to keep it exciting for me as i ran a noobie through it.
He spent the next 30 mins just going through the corpses for loot , gave me time for some food and a smoke .
:P

I think his question was more about which he should need and which to greed.

Not about Boosting

Any how. Just /w me ingame I'll take you for a trip Petruz

Well the lowbie that was with me filled half his xp bar just after that one fight.
Just one thing to remember is that if you the high level character like my paladin was 2000 damage per sec means there will be a lot , and i mean alot of damage notifications on the screen so dont expect to see to much of the fight itself as all you will see is damage notifications.
I have no idea how many mobs where there but it was a lot . I felt like a war god :P

About that armour set how do one get it?Is it like diablo random drops?
And do you have to stay in WC along time and kill monsters till all of it drops?

No not really random and yet yes.

I have seen runs without any of the set dropping. On others whole set dropping. Chance...

Regarding you question about loot - compared to Diablo

Mobs have predifined loot, 'loot table"

For example a loot table of voltruis (plain strider) will look like this

"junky feather" 70%
"juicy steak" 20%
"set of teeth" 9%%
"nice green drop" 1%

The loot is decided by the server when the mob spawns based on the % chance from the loot table.

Sets for the most part drop from fixed mob.

Piece 1 : Funny spider boss
Piece 2 : Big scary bat
Piece 3 : Wolf man

But remember each of these bosses have a loot table rolling each time they spawn. Also bosses only spawn once per instance which means you would have the reset the instance to kill the boss again (and all mobs leading up to that boss)

So to collect a complete set you may need to re-run an instance countless times to get all the pieces or be really lucky and only do a handful of runs.

Regarding need/greed

In general greed before need is the best approach to take, consider the following before rolling need

1) Is the piece suited to my class/spec
2) Is the piece better suited to another class interested in rolling
3) Have I informed the PuG that I intend to roll (Not an issue for guilds)
4) Did any of the other players say the were running for the item

For example, you are a feral druid and a nice piece of leather drops but it has int on, although you may argue that you need the piece because its leather the truth is unless nobody else wants it you are being greedy if you take it. A resto/boomkin druid would get it before you. In the opposite if you are a boomkin druid and leather with attack power drops it would be unfair to take that piece over a rogue.

As a hybrid class you will often have to pass on gear that you want for offspec because somebody in the group really does need it for their primary spec. In short don't steal something for a mage/lock/priest for your boomkin gear unless you are a boomkin or they really do not want the gear.

What you need to do is go on top of black temple and pull the entire roof of demon hunters.

Thats how you have fun as a prot paladin :P Just careful the elite roaming around he can force you to pop cooldowns.

Without the elite you can pull 50-60 lvl 70s and not drop under 50% HP

lol!!! be carefull on how you group with other people in WOW, some people take offense to you rolling need all the time.Unless your with friends but some people will make your name really **** with others.

roll need on items you need never roll need on items that you dont need, Its a basic law in wow. We all have to learn the hard way!

If you carry on the way you are you will soon be regarded as a Ninja, meaning you ninja/steal/swipe loot.

As for a tip on how to run dungeons

Tank- warrior AKA: meat shield
Healer
rogue- crowd control
Mage or lock- crowd control and ranged spells and buffs
You.

The problem is i was playing with a friend at first and i always took need
cause i thougth need with the dices you roll for the item the highest roll gets it and i thougth creed meant i take it without asking so i thougth
creed is BAD.

I kinda figured somethings not rigth when everyone left me and Pitbull
cause they got pissed at me. I was to NEEDIE. :D
Hey i did ofer to give them back the stuff.

So if i go into a instance alone and kill only the first few monsters
over and over i will not get the full set without restarting the instance??
