Dungeons for Noobs??(like me)

So if i go into a instance alone and kill only the first few monsters
over and over i will not get the full set without restarting the instance??

Nope.

The set you looking for only drops off the bosses randomly ;)

If you are going to do be a cat dr00d go do DM for the defias set it is more rogue but then again a dr00d in cat form is a rogue.

Lots af agl.

I went into a dungeon yesterday with a lvl 20 hunter and a lvl 21 warlock
And my druid lvl 19 sucked these pets of the Warlock and Hunter
were stronger than me?(note even in bearform and i spended ALL my talents in feral)That way i am gone reroll a rogue.Or maybe a Troll hunter? My druid cant handle more than two mobs i saw the hunter taking on 4 mobs at the same time.

Just dont think a druids for Noobs.

I do not think there is any point to grind for low level sets. By the time you have it, you are past the level where they are any use. Also, no point in griding for the end game sets in normal WoW, when there are green drops/quest rewards in BC that is nearly as good that you get on the first day in BC. I swapped out all my gear in the first two days of BC, except for my boots, which I kept purely for the spurs, and gloves where I have not found something better yet than the ones I picked up in Sunken Temple. There is better stuff in normal WoW than in the first part of BC, but the time to get them is seldom worth it in my opinion.

Depends if you want to create a lvl19 twink.

O and Petruz Dr00ds are one of the strongest classes in wow. Learn to play it.You only have 19 lvls of dr00d experience. Ofc you are stil strugling. Go and read some guides

Stick with the Druid m8, it may not be the easiest char to play with at start, but you will love it later on. Yes you cant take on as many mobs now, but that is due to gear and skill not your class. Practise and get better gear, with the correct stats for your tallent spec, you will be a big bear/cat someday :D

As druid you have several changing options later, if you find healing interested you can get healing gear and change your talents for healing. Can melee do damage or tank with feral, or even be good at ranged damage as a moonkin druid.

But if you want :P Hunters are easy mode, level up a hunter and use it to grind cash for your other chars...
Warlock is hard mode, and not recomended as a first char. But some people are just good at it from the start
Rogue, a lot more gear dependant than your druid, same with warriors, so take care when choosing these classes

Good luck, and hope you have learned from your loot experience. People in wow are unfortunatly verry unforgiven, so try not to be too greedy aswell :P Pass on blue stuff if you dont really need it.

Another wall of text from me, but hopefully it is helpful. It may not mean much in Wailing Caverns but by the time your doing heroic Ramparts these tips might be the difference between a clean run and 100g in repairs after 4 hours of wiping.

You need to understand the group mechanic. Instances are meant for parties of 5 and will generally require the following. (I mention specs but its not gospel, arms warriors are still good tanks for low level instances etc etc etc)

1 Tank, this is a Protection Warrior, Feral Druid or Protection Paladin. The tanks job is to hold agro on the mobs and ensure that they do not hit the rest of the team. In a perfect group only the tank will take damage.

1 Healer, this is a holy priest, restoration druid, restoration shaman, holy paladin. The healers job is to heal the group in particular making sure the tank does not die.

3 DPS, this is everyone else, hunters/mages/rogues/locks/balance druids/en-ele shamans etc etc etc. Their job is to do the actual damage while not going over the tanks threat****

So once you have a group with this makeup you are ready to go, as a norm the tank will pull mobs (a hunter is great at pulling mobs if you have one in the group) Once the tank pulls the mobs crowd control will take place (unless you have a rogue who needs to sap before combat). Once the tank has got a few hits in on a mob the dps will start killing that target ignoring other targets. You will then move through the mobs in the order decided before hand.

So, imagine a pack in wailing caverns, it consists of 4 mobs. 2 raptors, 1 slime and 1 druid. Lets imagine that your group is a Druid (Tank), Rogue, Hunter, Warlock, Priest (Healer)

The first thing to understand is which mobs are dangerous and which are just irritating. In this example the slime would be priority since it can duplicate itself. The druid would be annoying since it can heal. The raptors are no real threat beyond the damage they can do. It makes sense then to kill the slime first, then either remove the druid from the equation or kill him next and leave the raptors for last. You would mark the mobs to represent how they will be dealt with. A skull on the slime, a "X" on one of the raptors, a star on the druid and blue square on a another raptor.

Now you need to understand each persons abilities, let the rogue sap the druid (this lets you ignore the druid for a short while since it will be "stunned"). and the hunter trap the blue square. Tank and kill the slime first but remember to keep agro on the raptor marked with a x as well to prevent from running off to the priest who will be generating threat**** from healing. Also, keep in mind that rogues cannot sap in combat so you need to kill the druid after the sap wears off. The hunter can re trap so there is no rush there however be aware that his trap may be resisted and has a heavy cooldown so he may require some help. So your kill order would most likely be, Skull, Star, X, Square.

**** Threat is a measure of hate a mob(monster) has for a player, threat is generated by doing damage or healing. Certain abilties generate more threat than others. The target with the highest threat will normally be the focus of the mob.

Consider installing an addon called Omen to help monitor threat, download WAU from www.wowace.com and install Omen (this displays threat) and Threat 1.0 (This library does the work and allows Omen to talk to KTM) KTM is a older addon that tracks threat. Although it works well it has some design flaws which make it a poor choice compared the newer (still buggy on new encounters) Omen.

Werries speaks a bit of truth, hybrids are in my opinion the most fun in the game. I have a 60+ lock/hunter/paladin and I love the paladin most. Infact the warlock has been stuck at 67 for nearly 5 months even though its an awesome class I just prefer the paladin.

Guides are ok, but imo its all about how you play the game and how good you are, youre still learning which is a good thing. As soon as you start understanding your class youll be set. Still early days for you.

Also ask in game for tips, like when you see a lvl 70 druid, ask them about the class.

Good advice :D
Just an aditional note to that, ask about specific issues to higher level players or on forums :D And dont take everything as the only way, there are hundreds of opinions and play styles for each class. It is up to you how you will play the game and create your own play style.

A site that will give you a lot of insight to classes and lots of discussions regarding class mechanics. Its a nice read, but maybe for the more advanced players.

hunterrrzzz are the easiest class to play in the game, but thats for solo questing imo. But alot of people have hunters so the population of hunters is huge meaning you will struggle to find any guild becos of this.

stick with your druid!

They indeed need to update those manuals :p according to that Mages are still best dps class...

Best gear you can craft at your level is not the best gear you can wear at your level... It helps but there is a lot more to it. As I said stats for your build is quite important, enchants to boost stats, potions, elixers.

If you want to play hunter, do so :D I have a lvl 70 hunter and she is my raid pride and joy at the moment. Great class for solo, dps boost in raids etc, but you really will struggle to find regular groups for instances.

Oh and by easiests he dont mean owns all classes in one on one combat. In fact hunters are one of the weakest classes when it come to 1v1.
They shine in group PVP to some extend, and can do a lot of damage, but too many classes can beat them.

Rogues IMHO is by far the best DPS out there currently second is locks.

Just my opinion - I have finished all instances ahead by at least 10% more DPS then the second person
