Dunno how to title this.

Ok, so I did a longer test this time and I got about 13 something megs sent and 21 something megs received in 2 hours ..... that was just spent on Nag and Prophecy forums, with constant refreshing. Then I came here and got more than 23 something sent and 22 something received .... in just 1 hour  Ja, excessive methinks. So clearly something is fuddled here.

What I don't understand is why so much is going on the sent. The received I can understand due to the constant refreshing ................ It's puzzling and a little worrisome to be honest :o

So this is the problem ....

I was on another forum and normal surfing for 20 minutes and my send and receive was 378,722 bytes sent -1,990,827 bytes received .... which is about normle-analal. My stats for this forum however, and this is only since yesterday, is 2,371,842 - 3,579,408 ........ for 10 minutes! Very early this morning I was on and noticed that after an hour I had 'sent' 19mb and received just about 11mb. And it's only happening here, so wtf is going on

Not sure what that is - but if it just started the other day it's unlikely to be google analytics (like you were wondering in TK). AFAIK nothing has changed with MYBB's use of analytics in the last couple of days.

Both NAG and prohpecy also use analytics.

:o

Sorry that I can't say what it could be.

No worries ...... it's just freaking me out the amount of bandwidth it's 'sending'.

So I took the modem to my other PC and went online from there ...... everything was normal  So, it has to be a Windows problem or an update needed or something ..... I dunno? Any takers now on what it could be :o

What browser are you using? Maybe switch to Opera or get Firefox 3 when it's released.

Was using FF ........ decided to swing back to the 'darkside' and using IE again, just for this site, and everything is hunky dory  It says something when even my friends IT guy and my ISP is stumped by it, lol.
