Durablades worked very well for me on my Jetta 2 back in the day, it's the only wipers I used.
IMO it all depends on the shape/curve of the windscreen.
Tried it once as a test om my Megane (to save some bucks) but it failed completely to wipe the windscreen clean.
Durablades are very stiff, and don't bend very well over the length of the blade and in my case the springs on the wiper did not manage to keep the blade on the windscreen when it moved over the windscreen when in use.
Give it a try, I think you will be pleased with the result.
