Durban M4 Bridge walkway collapses

Toxic mentioned that the sea side of the bridge was not new construction, I do recall work being done though and the article above mentions the work done on THAT side of the bridge.

The New construction was not a pedestrian bridge, but they probably worked on that as well... but on the landward side of the bridge they widened it for a bicycle lane.
