What % is charged on running shoes?

The shoes not available in SA yet, only released in the USA last week.

Pretty high. 30% duties plus VAT.

Not worth it. Running shoes fall in the "textile" category and government is trying to protect the local textile industry by discouraging individuals from importing textiles. So expect to pay your ass off

Indeed seems to come around R800 more than locally.

My mom just have to wait 6 months for it be released locally.
