does any1 hve any new on when we are having DVB in dbn and cpt?

currently it's available for jhb, via sentech's satelites...
and Thats still in testing since 2003...

My guess is probably by the middle of the year when most of the towers should serve digital and analogue transmission.
The question that should be asked is whether Sentech will go the newer MPEG4 route similiar to that of France or choose the older MPEG2 standard which is not efficient when it comes to spectrum.

I recon its MPEG2 .. as MPEG4 equipment is more costly. The current transmission is MPEG2
