not that i no of mate... to my understanding the dvd codes are built into the info on the dvd... so unless you can change that i don't think it possible. but we'll see what creative idea's other peolpe come up with

Ok so you can't change the DVD, but can't you stop the DVD player from checking it somehow????

Back the DVD up with ShrinkDVD
When backing up the DVD disk, you can remove the region code or change it. Also check this...

one other thing ....
if you have an older dvd player ... check on the net for the sequence of buttons that you press on your remote to make it 'region free' .... i have done it on my panasonic home theatre that is about 7 years code region 2 locked.....
