So looks like my 10 year old 16 channel DVR card has finally captured its last footage.

I paid about R9k for it over 10 years ago and I now require a replacement.

Any suggestions??

I am clueless as to what is available and what I should be looking at/for.

At this point I'm considering this one....

15 cameras run 24/7 recording at 2fps between 7am-11pm and 11pm-7am 4/15 carry on recording.

8 are colour cameras and 7 B&W, entry level cameras, nothing state of the art.

The pc in question is i5-750, HD4890 GPU, TX850 Corsair PSU, P7P55D-LE mobo, 4gb ram (Windows 7 32bit).

Does it have to be a PC based unit?

You can get very nice embedded units these days for not too much money which will do 400fps.

I'm not too familiar with the PC based items but perhaps you can look at the hybrid cards. These will allow you to integrate IP cams later on into the system as and when needed while still letting you keep the analogue stuff. Not sure if esquire have those.

Was going to suggest PM Esquire - they had a few listed a few mailshots ago, but unsure of the specs and how they relate to what you're looking for ;)

The TD-4416S they selling for R3k inc. looks a winner.
