DWC - How to get connected? Please help!

I went onto wug.za.net and did the whole google earth thing. I downloaded the KLM file and there are the following on my doorstep (literally):

1.Operational Transit
2.Operational client
3.Operational unconnected node

What does the above mean and do I need expensive equipment to get connected as a client with all of the above being on my doorstep?

Its the map key when you download the KLM file.

1.) They connect to a highsite and someone connects to them
2) a client connecting to a highsite or transit
3) someone has an AP up but is not connected to anyone

I would like to get onto the network and see whats its all about and if its for me, before spending thousands of rands. Is this possible in anyway? When I do a scan on my laptop, nothing comes up except for the companies around me.

I did see your node just down the road from me, but I dont have line of sight.

there is a test kit that is avalible to test LOS you welcome to borrow it.

We are in the process of putting up a site on Umgeni road that you may have LOS too.
