With AMD vs Nvidia, both have new technology architectures and harping on these for consumers to purchase their products. In this case it is narrowed down to ATi (DX10.1 and Tesselator) and Nvidia (PhysX and CUDA).
So my question is which of these would be best for current games AS WELL AS be best FUTURE PROOF, DX10.1 or PhysX?
Is it true that developers are moving more towards computational developing which will therefore make PhysX more future proof?

um, I reckon waiting another 6 months for the AMD HD5800 series would be best bet as they will have dx11... I saw you have a XFX 8800gtx 768mb, so there's no reason to upgrade just yet... AMD also uses Havoc, which is supported more widely by game developers...

Buy HD4850... :P Im getting another one when I need to but atm, one is enough, if it isnt get a HD4870, no point in waiting 6 months... You'll never buy anything :D
