Hello People,

I found out some very upsetting news today, I tried to call Dylan for some technical support and received the following voice mail "Hello I am no longer employed by WBS, if this is a WBS query contact the callcentre, if this is a private query contact me on new no xxxxx".

Does anyone know the reason for this? Who is replacing Dylan?

This disturbs me alot to know that the only 2 people to reply to customers and actually try and make a difference are now gone?

Is WBS falling apart?

extra information

I had Wayne from WBS Technical Department at my house the 3 weeks ago and with a miracle from *** he fixed my connection:) I tried calling him for some support but as it would seem he`s not working at WBS anymore. I then phoned the callcentre and they told me the same thing, Wayne is not working here anymore. I asked why and they responded "nobody knows"

What is going on?

looks like "customer service" is grounds for immediate dismissal at WBS.

shame... hulle het ernstig die pot misgesit op die een

Now i see afrikaans everywhere. Are you trying to prove a point or something.

What does that phrase mean - for my sake (if only mine)

Hey - I'm an "Engels Man" and I understand it :-

"They've seriously made a mistake getting rid of this guy"

Basically, it's a saying - "they've seriously put the pot skew on this one"

Well, something to that effect :D

this is bad. but prehaps they got fed up with been over worked for been the only people who knew anything.

Another possible interpretation that injects some humour:

They have seriously misplaced the Durban Poison with this one...:D

@ Dylan, I wish you well with whatever venture you are taking on :).

I think this has something to do with the suspected buy out. Whats the first thing to go when Mweb Takes Over?
............ The Support Desk.

Everything gets shunted over to a single Tiscali / iAfrica / Polka / Netactive and soon to be iBurst Support Center.

Well MWeb was available 20:30 last night for support - and they were able to help - so no worries there.

This is getting rather OT but:

AFAIK this was reported on ItWeb (?) but "official" statement is that they're not gonna sell .. who knows ...
