Hi,

I can not access my email, but when I log in @ www.mtn.co.za, can see that my emails are there. This is going on for a couple of days now.

Settings
Account Name: MTNLoaded
E-mail [email protected]
Account: CellNo
Password: Pincode
Internet Access MTN GPRS

Servers:
POP3: mail.mtnloaded.co.za
SMTP: mail.mtn.co.za
SMTP Authentication is off

On my PC it is the same settings and no SSL settings is selected
Error msg on PC when tried:
There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'MTN Mail', Server: 'mail.mtnloaded.co.za', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR invalid username or password, please try again', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

From my phone it keeps on asking for username and password. (Using same password as on website). Have no problems to access my old vodamail on my mtn phone.

Please help me.
Thx

Both SMTP servers (mail.mtn.co.za & mail.mtnloade.co.za) will be replaced with a full ISP grade SMTP server over the next few weeks which will fix the problems anyone using POP3 type email have been experiencing when sending mail.

In terms of the MTNLOADED Mail - We have made some strong progress in the past few days with respect to updating the mail platform.
I am now just waiting for Ashraff’s comments (and potentially some financial work) before I can kick off with the actual integration.

We expect a 4 to 6 week migration time once we properly kick off the integration.

The above is comms from MTN - Hope you'll find this in order
