Hi guys,

Just discovered yesterday, that e.tv has launched an on demand service.

Do any of you guys know about this?

Works fine on my VPN.

For somebody who lives overseas, and who likes to be up to date with SA current affairs, it's a pretty big deal.

However, I must say that it needs some serious adjustments, I'm not happy with the interface, and there's only a handful of programming available. When you go to full screen, it doesn't allow the window to go away completely.

However, I'm optimistic that e.tv will iron the bugs out sooner or later.

The SABC need to wake up, and launch an on demand service too, otherwise the few intelligent ones who still watch the SABC, will move to online streaming in this digital age.

What would you demand on e or the SABC's though?

I saw this a few months ago but haven’t tested it yet.
If they do documentaries then I will definitely give it a go in the future.

It seems that e-TV's 24 hour news channel eNCA is now available free of charge via the Livestation private channel on the Roku. I'm not sure if this will be permanent but may be of interest to those living overseas.
