I burnt my etoll invoice. Felt really good. I'm proud. Now I wait to get arrested, go to court and get sent to jail.

This is what I am waiting to see the outcome of the first legal case against a non payer for an e-toll account. It will be interesting to see if it is able to stand up in court.

However I am sure SANRAL will treat it like the Jhb traffic fines just leave the defaulters alone and only claim from the people that are willing to pay

I solve 100% of all my Sanral problems by not registering and not getting an etag, and by not paying, Im also saving money. I don't see what the problem is...

This tagged versus untagged thing sounds a lot like not circumcised (tagged) versus circumcised (untagged).

There should be billboards informing cANCer party members/voters that having an etag is a lot like not being circumcised and its time to take a blunt knife to that etag.

Wrong way round. Being tagged is much more akin to genital mutilation than untagged.

I have received 2 invoices so far which are laying on my desk. One with pics.

My wife received her first 2 invoices this last week. They had so many errors in them. Like charges for gantries coming home, but none going to work?

My cab got an etag on Wed. Company I work for asked me to be on site everyday (Edenvale to Hartees - 9 gantries). So they gave me an etag and a petrol card. Oh well... I did fight the fight while it was personal. Wifey still is.

It's all about perception and the majority's cultural preference seems to tend towards circumcision even when it is performed by shysters with blunt knives, therefore possessing an etag could be perceived to be a "dirty thing".

I would like to see Woosy Moaner squirming at a media briefing when asked a question like "people think that having an etag is like not being circumcised, what do you have to say about that?".
