Martins said: “We believe… the consultation processes we have followed and that the toll tariffs and regulations that were gazetted today [Friday] for comment set the scene for compliance.”

Mahlalela said all parties had been consulted except for the Congress of SA Trade Unions and the Opposition to Urban Tolling Alliance (Outa).

Gotta love these idiots, they've consulted everyone except the two biggest objectors

Transport director general George Mahlalela said the government had made a contribution of R5.9 billion to the project, which made up 25 percent of the total debt.

Government seem to forget that its our money not theirs!

Why should we pay when a bunch of crooked monkeys chose an expensive method of collection just so their buddies can score some tenders? We will not buy your e-tags!

As Vavi said, its going ahead, any and all consultation is just a formality for legalities.
The gvt could care less what we have to say or what we want.
This is ALL about money, corruption and the ANC finding a new cash cow for their own needs
