They only mean what they say under certain conditions. We get E16 if we turn the decoder off for a little time. It then says the card isn't valid. But if you wait, it all comes back.

Had that the whole of last night on majority of channels. I have an HD-PVR. I tried calling the useless call centre. No help...as usual. Pulled the plug out the back, waited 10secs and rebooted and the problem was gone.
