Yes it is possible. Preferable do use the old mobile partner interface. Use either the 8ta interface or MDMA.

Hi the E220 works with the 8ta SIM with the default Mobile Partner.As with the title.
I have also tried the sim on a 3g router without success (Dlink DIR-455U).

As 8.ta towers are 900MHz, you'll only ever be able to roam on MTN for HSDPA when using 8.ta.
Huh?The E220 like many older modems does not offer HSPA on 900MHz, just EDGE...
