E220 and Central african Cellular Providers

Hey guys

would an E220 USB Modem work with a zambian (or other central african) sim card to allow internet connection while in another country?

In Zambia all three networks Celtel, MTN and Zamtel all show as operating on 900MHz only, so at best you'd only get EDGE service but somehow I think you'll only get plain GPRS.
