I've got a client with a Windows 2000 Pro PC with SP4 loaded. Everytime you click "connect", the PC bluescreens with 0x00000d1 (Driver IRQL not less or equal).

Any ideas what I should do to try and rectify problem, besides loading XP :p

Perhaps updating your motherboard drivers?

Trying another USB port?

Updating the VMC Lite software to 3.2.1 or using the full blown VMC 9.3 software.

9.3 on Windows 2000... thats asking for trouble :)

Yeah, wasn't too sure about the 9.3 on Win2000. But it's worth a try if all else fails.

Does VMC Lite 3.2 work on Win2000?

But as suggested in that other thread....a BIOS update might work as well.
