For the love of gawd, I can't find any setting to change to 3G/UMTS only

I'm using VMC Lite 2.2.2.1. Where/how do I find the settings? I've tried searching the forum, but couldn't find anything. From what I gather for this forum and other Google searches it is staring me in the face.

Thanks

Maybe use VMC 9.2.1. It gives you much better control. Or, as others will suggest, use the native Huawei software.

Vodafone has this 'orrible habit of removing the option to select bearers from their software, including some handsets.

Ditto that :).

There is another option that should work in Windoze, try [post=756106]ginggs' application...[/post]

I'm battling, keep on getting an error box popping up. Any gotcha's?
I find that this goes away after a few attempts, but the key is to not run VMC|HMC before running ginggs' application, and to do that you would need to disable autorun which usually auto-starts HMC - I assume the same is true of VMC.

As far as I can remember none of the VMC dashboards allow you to select 3G only. You have to download the Huawei software to do that.
