Which modem are you reffering to?

Also are you using a network hub?

Are you trying to share it between two pc's?

Please advise?

is this modem any good?

How good is it at GPRS in very remote situations where there is nothing but a single bar kind of signal?

Does it allow one to easily configure for different networks? I'm often in Botswana where they have some shaky GPRS capacity where I'm stationed and I don't want to struggle switching from MTN/VC to Mascom.

I'm considering getting one - as long as it is not more expensive than the PMCIA adaptors.

The USB connection is attractive - it can be used easily for a desktop as well.
