Hi All,

I want to use my E272 under XP64, is this possible.

Has any body done this before.
Where to get the drivers to run under XP64.

VMC 9.3 supports 64bit, and its preloaded on the E272, so i think it should work. Give it a try.

Hi Hsdpasa.

How did you install the driver.

I have the samw setup, when trying to install E272 software setup complains can't install need Win2K service pack 4 or WinXP servicepack 2.

I tried to use the drivers e220 under XP64.
1) Tried to use during installation F6; no go.
2) Installed ewdcsc.inf;ewmdm2k.inf and ewser2k.inf no go.Point to the individual *.inf and say install.
When I plug the device into the usb-port it only see it as a cd-drive. After it goes trough it own install at the end it need "Win2K service pack 4 or WinXP servicepack 2".
3) I tried to install new "hardware" no go point to all *.inf files no go.
4) Under hardware install Pointing to the Huwai data card it tells me system is working ok.
5) I also loaded Net.2 for XP64 still comes up it needs "Win2K service pack 4 or WinXP servicepack 2".

What pussel me how to install the ewusbmdm.sys file. This is what I think I lack to get E272 to install.

How did you managed to get it installed.

Hi HSDPASA;

Hi, I got it working.
This post is made through microsoft dial up connection.

I had to roll back the driver under "USB Mass Storage Device".
Then it requested for new driver.
Everything else is history. The driver thing happens to quick, that is why I had to roll back driver.

Once all drivers are installed you get new devices.
1) Modem
HUWAEI Mobile Connect - 3G Modem.
2) Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
USB Composite Device.
USB Mass Storage Device.

Tnx for the advice. It works all ok.
