Hi MTNBB,

Eventually after a month and a half and after the help of MTN_Data_Dude (Thanks a million!!!) I got my Huawei E620 Data Card, and just before breaking out the champagne, I installed the software and stuck the card into my Laptop. Lo and behold, there it goes and freezes up. No matter what I tries - no joy!

I tried looking in Device Manager but couldn't find the driver - there are other PCMCIA drivers (of the Laptop). Running the driversetup and devicesetup executables in the drivers directory on the CD just gives me windows errors!

I have an HP Compaq nx6125 AMD Turion64 Mobile ML 34 Laptop with 1Gb Ram and 60GB HD. I am running WinXP Pro v5.1.2600 with Service Pack 2.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem and what is the solution?

PLEASE HELP!!!!

I am so very frustrated.

Thanks

Good Morning,

Dreuning

I've got a HP Compaq NX8220

Last week Thursday I put in the disk, installed the driver's, put in the data card, had to manually open the MTN d@stLink Data Card watcher on my desktop, clicked on connect and I was A for a way. Sounds like you might have to re-image your pc, I'll run it past MTN BB and see.

Thanks MTN DD,

The problem was eventually narrowed down to a faulty 3G card which has been replaced - so today I am using my card for the first time.
