What am I looking for and where would I get my hands on it?
I'm thinking of perhaps going with an LED option, but they're pricy ffs :p
Maybe next month

Been looking at Prophecy's Shop, but what are other local options in CT?
May go 2nd hand, but not to keen on it.
Unless it's a really nice one for cheap.

Thinking of kitting my chassis out with some other lighting, not sure really.

So any advice would be appreciated.

Nah it doesn't - but in the next month (or rather end of May) I'm looking to pick up a 2nd hand box with a nice window.

I'm just looking for ideas of what would be good to use for lighting.

Any tips/suggestion on the cooling fan for the CPU in the meantime as well?

Wouldn't touch cheap cases for above average builds. Look out for a second-hand decent brand case. Build quality is much better etc. Or perhaps even a new Cooler Master Elite series case. Some of them have windowed side panels.

i.e. Coolermaster RC-310-BWN1 , Elite 310 , black with Blue highlight , Windowed side panel , No psu : tools free ; 2 x front usb + audio in/out - 4x 5.25", 1x 3.5", 6x 3.5" hidden - support upto 3x 120mm fan - atx

These cases are quality!

As for CPU cooler, have a look at Zalman products.

i.e Zalman CNPS7000C-AlCu Led : support silent mode with no noise/vibration ; aluminum+copper FHS + 92mm blue led fan + fan mate2 , 1350/2600rpm , double ball bearing , noise 18/27db - for Amd 754/939/940/AMx/1207 , Intel LGA775 cpu
