I am using Telkom 3G on a E960. I am connecting via the Wirless LAN on my laptop.
I have setup the E960 PPP connection to "on Demand". This is supposed to disconnect once there has been no internet traffic for a set period (defult 600 seonds) and re-connect when the connection is needed.
The problem is that it never seems to disconnect and there is always a small amount a data being sent and received (<100kB per hour), even when I disconnect the wirless LAN connection on my laptop. When I disconnect the Wireless LAN on the laptop and then connect it again later, I can see from the connection duration that it never disconnected, and that the data counter was ticking slowly.
Has anyone had the same problem?
