Well unfortunately for the dog, the eagle was just doing what is is supposed to do.

had a close one before when I lived in durbs. not sure if was a crowned eagle or what, but one dropped down onto my basset when she was a puppy but luckily, my sha pei was right inside the door and just charged it. don't know what was more scared, the basset or the bird. bird try to fly up and backwards and flipped over and then it was just feathers every where. bird got away, but never saw it again. funniest **** to ever watch.

Exactly, the eagle was just sitting there challenging her to come at him lady-bro.

If it was my beloved pet we would have had eagle soup for supper.

I feel sorry for them for losing a pet but if you don't want eagles to hunt your pets get something that doesn't look like a rat.
