Hi GUYS, Need some expert assistance.

I am looking for earbuds that has good quality sound, comfortable fit in the ear and longest playtime on a single charge. Usage is for listening to some sound and cellphone calls. e.g. https://www.takealot.com/taotronics...-79-in-ear-bluetooth-headphones-/PLID71032009

Then I am looking for true wireless headphones, similar requirements and noise cancelling. Usage is for TV and zoom/team meetings.

If there is a unit that does both then why not. Budget up to R5000 for both or one dual unit.

Thank you in advance

These are great for everything, noise canceling, battery life is 4 hours+, charge really quickly like 15mins. You can even run with them in the pouring rain.

I tried lots of buds and these are the only ones that don't hurt my ears.

At that price you are getting them for a steal

I have the Sony XM3 and they are lovely, especially the noise cancelling. XM4 does have a few upgrades but the XM3 are solid and cheaper. I haven't tried using them for calls though.

A bit over budget at about R6000, but well worth the extra imo. I got for about R5200 bringing from Amazon US iirc.
Yeah they get a nice discounted price on TAL from time to time.

Thanks for the feedback. Anyone used the Taotronic earbuds or familiar with them? Any alternative in that price range?

1More has just released a new ANC wireless earphone called the PistonBuds Pro. It's currently on special for $49 but you would have to contact them about whether they can ship them to you using Buffalo etc.

I just got these recently on Takealot for 2999. So look out for specials now and then.

I am looking at these but mainly for exercise

They unfortunately ship to SA.
You might still be able to ship to SA using Buffalo or Aramex even if they don't offer direct shipping to SA. When you purchase on Aliexpress you can ship to any country that you like and pay the respective shipping fees etc. You might be able to ship directly to Buffalo or Aramex etc. if you have some type of account with them.

There is a very big Aliexpress Anniversary Sale coming up at the end of March. Many different wireless earphones should be available at discounted prices as well as offered as prizes in the hundreds of different giveaways and promotions that they organise. It might be worth investigating some of these shipping options to see whether this might be a viable option in the future. There are many threads about how to organise shipping to SA from Aliexpress etc.

Anker currently has a giveaway on their feed for their latest Smart Glasses. This appears to be a very interesting new device.
