What is the easiest way to level these days? I am questing my ass off but it takes forever -_-

Well, more bad news. They are reducing xp gained from dungeon's level 1 - 60 in cata as well.

But on the other hand, they are moving the quest givers for dungeon quests inside the dungeon, so you can get into a dungeon with the dungeon finder and still pick up the quests.

I think it's just dungeon quest xp that is being reduced, mob xp should remain the same so it shouldn't make a huge difference really.

The last toon I levelled was my shammy, around 3 months ago, so things have changed some since then, but you should still be able to level faster grinding instances than from questing, especially if you're a tanking or healing class.
You're obviously going to lose out on a whole boat-load of new and improved content this way though, so I really wouldn't recommend it unless you're planning to level another toon when Catacalysm goes live. Instance grinding is faster in my experience - not so much for dps toons though - but it's not like quest levelling is going to take you a whole lot longer, and it's a lot more varied and enjoyable besides.

I think they are only reducing the dungeon quest xp, but I'm not sure.

I haven't had any trouble leveling by just doing quests, as long as you keep to the appropriate level zones. My mage is 48 now and I can easily do 2 levels a evening through questing alone.

I think the best combination is doing randoms and do quests while waiting in the queue's.

a friend of mine went from lvl 35 - 61 from friday to tuesday. so I guess it also just depends on how fast you want to level. I dont think he was doing much else over the weekend, and ofc works in the day in the week

I made a warlock on Tuesday last week, and I dinged 60 two days ago (1-60 in a week) in just under 2 days /played. The dungeon quests gave an insane amount of xp but it was nerfed 2 days ago. A friend of mine told me it got nerfed so bad, a quest that he had to hand in went from 13k xp to 4.7k xp after the nerf.

So I guess it's back to quest leveling being the fastest.

In all honesty.

I'm leveling a Gnome Priest and what I found to be quickest was questing while in queue for a dungeon + BG's on BG weekends.
Just keep questing, they changed them now and they are fun again. While questing in the week, join the LFG queue. As DPS you should be qiting around 15 - 20 minutes. During that time you can do about 3 quests, dungeon and continue questing again.

On Weekends, if the BG for that weekend is one you can play join the queue and quest. If you win the BG on it's weekend you now get a level per win just about. 1 level for 20 minutes aint bad :)

you can i changed my address so i live in netherlands, 2 new lvl60s, nice and fast , if you have dedicated booster :)

I agree with Pitbull. I've leveled quite a few alts and questing is far better XP/time spend if you know which quests to take and which ones is just a waste of time. If you don't know your way around an addon like Zygor Guides can really help you speed leveling.
Do the odd dungeon when u bored of questing and got rested & have fun in BG weekends, specially 70-80 AV wins = awesome.

I started a Troll Druid, and went from lvl 1 - 20 in about 8 hours game play time, that is with mining, jewelcrafting and fishing (mining lvl 75, jewelcrafting lvl 50, fishing lvl 60) in between, and some places where I leave the game on to go do something - for me leveling feels a lot faster than before the shattering... haven't done any dungeons with this character yet...

Leveling is so quick these days.

My hunter which I began just after patch 4.0.1, has already dinged 80 and I have 2x T10 with combing questing and dungeon crawling. Kinda sad, because my first shaman in classic took 4-5months 1-60.

WOW, 4-5 months? My 1st char in classic took about 2-3 weeks to go from 1-60 and that was whilst working during the day part time and studying.

It takes about 1.5days play time to get from 1-60 now ... lvl 70-80's xp requirements have been reduced by 20%... so yeah ... queue for dungeons /bg's non stop, and quest in the interim.

The quests are now really cool, so it shouldn't feel like a grind fest anymore.
