Easy Equities good or bad?

Are you sure you are using the direct deposit method, as in from Capitec to Capitec?

All my EFT’s show after 5 min of doing the EFT

I am not sure I follow you.
I am talking about funding my EE account from a Capitec account. My normal process since the beginning was to deposit money into the FNB account as per EE instructions. This then takes 24 to 48 hours to appear in my EE account. Once it appears, I then buy what i need. I once tried buying ETFs directly using the EE facility in the Capitec app and even that took 24 to 48 hours (can't remember how long exactly). The only option for the funds to appear sooner is if I pay R7.50 per transaction. The below was taken from the EE website

  • Use the bank account details in the block below the drop-down menu to make an EFT from your internet banking or banking app

    NB​

    EFT deposits may take up to 2-3 business days to reflect in your EasyEquities account. The correct account number must be used as a reference to ensure the funds are allocated to the correct account. The reference number is the full 13 / 14-character account number displayed on the account overview page of the respective account.

Sounds like there is an immediate transfer button to the EE account once you have followed the steps to register your accounts in the EE widget on the Capitec app.

Ok sorry, thought you asked about topping up, but you are referring to paying out (from EE side).

I never done that before.

And I see the EE site only mention the app (for deposits for Capitec).

Yes, and that costs you R7.50 per transaction whereas with the other banks like ABSA, FNB, etc, there is not such facility and associated cost. All normal transactions from these banks too the EE account are almost immediate and at whatever rate the charge to do an EFT.

ok that is unfortunate. Perhaps consider looking at another bank? The other banks also have accounts thats below R10-R15/month if that is what you want and then you will also get the benefit of instant transfers to EE.

I would say it is usually once a month, unless there is a sale and I can't resist then I will deposit funds again into my EE Account. I just deposited R1000 today, should EC210 drop further, then I might put in some money again.
 
EE customer service appears to be non-existent. I am an extremely frustrated and disappointed long term account holder. One generally deposits funds to purchase the products when the time is favourable.
Normally my deposits to EE show within a few minutes however I deposited funds 7 days ago and they are still to show in my EE account. I have received very little communication from EE despite logging 2 tickets, sending emails and connecting on FB. I sent the verifying documentation they requested yesterday and asked someone to call me - still no comms from them and the funds are still not available to me. It would appear that one can only log a ticket. Is anyone aware of a way of contacting the customer service department?

Oh, was only looking at the daily chart. Yeah if you want to look at the steady decline in the sugar industry as that sure. It's not actually lower than it was a year ago.

I don't think Tyme Bank has 'Pay and clear' feature yet. I do fnb to fnb but noticed absence of tymebank account from their deposit options.
