Easy Equities good or bad?

Romi Appel

Also read the post under that name. I see it's completely different to what was originally posted.

I just recently signed up to EE and referred a few family members as well, for TFSA accounts specifically. Haven't started investing yet though.

If this is a representation of managements integrity I'm going to be very skeptical going forward, if I decide to continue the relationship at all.

That said. I believe in second chances. Not a third though.

Register an account as a company representative (PM rpm, get a red username) and join the community. We have a lot of questions that we would like to be answered. I generally prefer to use companies that have a (useful) rep here on MyBB.

have to agree. wont take alot of time for a sales manager, or even call center to tackle some updates in this thread ( most queries is already clear via the community providing feedback which came from the call center), but still - correcting the post referenced is important as that is definitely not the correct way forward...

Even more importantly if you are interested let me know and we can schedule a round table discussion at our offices so that you can meet the team!

This is how you do business!!!

Kindly ignore my PM to that pseudo username you used yesterday! :)

You can also email me directly on rappel[at]gt247[dot]com or zero87 940 6zero34.

FTFY.

I would not put my email and cell number on a public forum in the format you had it originally.

EDIT: Also, welcome. Looking forward to doing business with you in the future.

@Romi, I like the recent changes to the site but the banner showing your account balance is too big. I would suggest a font size of 12.

@Romi, how will you be dealing with the Mediclinic rights issue?

Are you serious? I prefer not sharing this type of information.

that is what the demo account and even TFSA is for now ;)

Trying to read through the circular, but it seems like they are moving around about 2% of the shares. What is the effect on shareholders?

they(Gt247) normally email any instructions a day or two before deadline. I had a few cases this year , where i was offered shares free of charge in stead of receiving a dividend.

+1 for this. I don't know how many times I have requested this.

As an Easyequities account holder can I participate in IPOs or private placements via the platform or do I need yet another brokerage account?

IPO for whom? EE only deals with certain companies' share rights, not all on the JSE so it might take a while before they start dealing in the company's shares

Hi Romi

Welcome to MyBroadband.

I have 2 items on my wishlist for EE:
1. A 'wishlist': Sometimes I want to buy a certain share/company, but I don't have funds, it will be nice to have a functionality where one can place certain shares in a 'wish-list' until one has money to execute the trade.
2. Auto-trading: Nothing complicated, a simple bot to execute trades based on an pre-setup instruction, Like buy 2 Purple Shares (R500 worth of shares) every month on the last working day.

What you think?

+1000 for option 2. especially for TFSA's since ETF index pricing doesn't vary that much (bid/offer spread). Would really like to do an automated EFT, and then have the 6 shares i need bought without me having to intervene.

how long have these dudes been around. want to open a tax free saving thing but don't want to worry that in 15 years they gone. ill go google now but want existing client's impression of them.

Hi CZC, With regards to your q about the interest on free cash we break it down into specific cash amount brands, so for interest R0-R1000 is Safey-5%. You can check out the full cost profile here - (right at the bottom. Hope it helps!) This amount is paid to you monthly (2nd working day) https://www.easyequities.co.za/Content/Documents/EASYEQUITIES_Cost_Profile.pdf.
Will certainly ask RPM to make me a red user. Thanks
