So if I call them now again and they again say that lonmin trading has been suspended then what?

This is not true when the trade was "suspended" on the site and you have no option but to trade through the desk. I phoned them a couple of minutes ago and wasn't charged anything extra.

Hamster is correct - thanks for responding. There is NO fee levied against a trade through the trading desk where the trade was suspended from the site and you were guided to the trading desk as an alternative.
 
Regarding the Mediclinic, Al-Noor merger, shareholders need to elect if they want to select the repurchase or exchange share option. Will we get an email soon to make a decision?

RE the Mediclinic / Al-Noor merger, the details haven't been finalised. There is a meeting with shareholders on the 15th of December whereafter final details will be communicated.

We'll communicate with investors who hold those shares on the platform soon after that.
 
Guys, just a quick question.

How long does it usually take for your EFT funds to clear in your EE account?

I deposited some cash from my Nedbank account to their Nedbank account a few min ago. Rather put some money into shares that drink it away during this holiday period.

I am 100% sure it will not clear today.

If you are lucky the funds may appear in their account immediately and one of their controllers will assign it to your account tomorrow. Alternatively, sometimes, especially Standard Bank, do not clear funds immediately (even if it is STD to STD payments). This may only appear in their account on Tuesday. So, it all depends on your banks' processes and when someone at EE attends to it.

It's not really urgent, just wanted to have an idea of when the money would show.

No problems. I usually pay by credit card, as this payment reflects immediately. I did an EFT payment a while ago on a Wednesday morning at around 11:00. They only assigned the money to my account the following day.
 
on my side , two transfers this week (FNB to FNB) have cleared within an hour. They usually drop an email once it has cleared, thus not too much of a hassle.
