Easy Equities good or bad?

I have had a late dividend payment from one of the CoreShare ETFs as well, late by 2 days or so.

But EE did respond very quickly to my query and the amount that was paid into my account was exactly as I had calculated it.
I also want to add, I have had quite a few div payments from different shares & those have always been on time, even reflecting on my account on the dividend payment date. Not the payment +1 day as stated on the EE FAQs.
 
Ok, so doesn't seem too serious then.

More of an admin issue than something fraudulent in nature.

· Receipt of the payment advise was only received on 5 November 2015.

In the result we can confirm that there is a process problem with our CSDP that specially affects ETF’s which we are resolving.

I also had late payment for the BBET40 October dividend but I also noticed that I didn't receive the July dividend. This source says that there should have been a dividend of 37.63c paid on 27/07/2015.

Thanks Romi, I see that my account has been updated. I hope to see some official correspondence going out to all the customers impacted.

I wonder whose bank account the dividends sat in before being paid out?

Unfortunately the date on the corporate action was incorrect from Computershare side however I am sure their response will be more detailed.

It's very annoying that they haven't sent out an email to ALL their clients that own BBET40 but they are very eager to spam you with xmas gifting ideas.

When owl reported the problem, EE should have done a full audit on dividends linked to BBET40. I've only owned it since June but what about those that hold it longer? Have they received their pre-June dividends?

Subsequent your query raised on 16 November 2015, we have investigated the Betta Beta Equally Weighted Top 40 dividend declaration with our CSDP (Computershare Limited) and can confirm the following:

• The dividend was announced by the Issuer’s sponsor on 03 June 2015 for payment 27 July 2015 at a rate of 37.63125 per share.
• It is our policy to wait for a correct payment advice from the CSDP prior to allocating funds to clients’ accounts within a day after receipt;
• In numerous instances our CSDP has either supplied an incorrect payment advice or has not supplied any. In this case the advice had incorrect information.

The outstanding dividend was paid today 17.11.2015.

In the result we can confirm that there is a process problem with our CSDP that we are resolving.

We thank you for raising your concerns and apologise for the inconvenience caused.

When I had the late payment of dividends from the DIVTRX ETF, they also told me it was due to Computershare...

It seems something is a bit broken there. I note all the payment dates for shares that I own & check up on them every time, but maybe someone at EE should run a daily check (on SENS) on dividends to be paid on that day & make sure that the info from CSPD is correct or whatever.
 
Maybe they are siphoning off dividends into Mark Barnes account to save the Post Office:)
