Easy Equities good or bad?

Its must be because everybody is trying to redeem their R50 vouchers at the same time.
Maybe EE can take note and send these campaign emails after hours or in batches.
Because now its disrupting existing user's access to their portal, not good.

Do you guys think the R50 voucher is some costly error?
The wording of the email suggests that this was only meant to be for people who opened EE account, but never deposited real money, but it looks like we all got the voucher :)

Redeemed mine...

Redeemed mine...

was wondering about that

I have an account with EE but haven't started investing yet.

Received the R50 voucher.

Don't know what to spend it on, there's so many choices! :D

Well I am pretty happy to get R50 free.

I hope they don't go bankrupt because of this :erm:

IIRC, they did a similar thing last year for Halloween.

I think it's in this thread somewhere.

What is this entry on Purple group's last financials "Accumulated Loss" for 216 million?

It's due to losses made in prior years.

Retained Earnings = profit from prior years
Accumulated Loss = losses from prior years

Obviously previous accumulated profits will offset previous accumulated losses and vice versa.

Those net interest rates on free cash are looking so attractive, it's fast approaching money market rates...
Make it +/- 5.5% net and I'll close my money market account, keeping that free cash on hand with EE for whenever a tempting trade lurks, but not sacrificing any shorter-term interest.. win-win

Does anyone know what their charges are for cash deposits? Their fee structure does not stipulate.

For those that have EE accounts: Please check your accounts that you do get dividends owed to you.

I complained about missing dividends and suddenly they appeared in my account with no apology or explanation given.
