Easy Equities good or bad?

Anyone know how to get a snapshot of your investments. I want to generate an investment statement for today as an example. So that it has my portfolio value and my details and the EE details on a statement?

I don't want a transaction listing because that's all that is available in the reports section..

Another question which may have been answered (i know the site says 10 days). But in reality how long does it take from date of sale until you can withdraw funds? Has anyone got it out quicker than those 10 days?

What sort of transaction description should be looked for. I had a look at http://www.sharenet.co.za/free/sens/disp_news.phtml?tdate=20151022140200&seq=33&scheme=default and it states that it would be paid out on the 26th of October. I don't see anything in easy equities showing such payments for that day.

Silly question, I don't suppose there is a set timeline for such payouts right? So we would have to check every investment and see when they make payments to make sure EE actually pays out.

It depends on the share/etf some pay twice a year while others are quaterly.
I think most should be paying dividends in December.

Thats it. They loaded it on the 5th Nov after I queried it.
 
Sounds super dodge.

I plan on using EE as my investment platform from next year and this does not inspire much confidence.

To make it worse, Romi has more of less disappeared from this thread.

Would like to see what he has to say about this.

This should actually be reported to the business news websites/papers so that they can enquire as to what is going on.

Just checked mine. looks like i am receiving quite regular dividends on my portfolio. I guess it is still partially your responsibility to check that you receive your pay into your bank account, thus the same applies to a income earning Equities account.

They do email me regularly with dividend options ( Shares or Dividends), thus i am sure they are keeping up with all the required work in the background.

The last few comments about dividends and corporate actions have me very concerned.

I just completed a very long and painful transfer process of my entire portfolio from two other brokers to Easy Equities.
I hope I won't regret the move...

I also had an issue once when depositing into my account.
Somehow not the full amount went into my account, had to call then and they sorted it out.

For those interested, here is the answer from Romi:

Subsequent your query raised on 5 November 2015, we have investigated the BettaBeta Equally Weighted Top 40 dividend declaration with our CSDP (Computershare Limited) and can confirm the following:

· The dividend was declared by the Issuer’s sponsor on 21 October 2015 for payment 26 October 2015;

· It is our policy to wait for a payment advice from the CSDP prior to allocating funds to clients’ accounts within a day after receipt;

· We began querying the CSDP on 28 October 2015 as to the delay in the payment advice; and

· Receipt of the payment advise was only received on 5 November 2015.

In the result we can confirm that there is a process problem with our CSDP that specially affects ETF’s which we are resolving.

We thank you for raising your concerns and apologise for the inconvenience caused.
