I can't. Single stocks are way riskier than I have an appetite for though.

Read about value investing - looking for solid businesses and buying when they are undervalued by the market. This doesn't eliminate risk entirely but it does reduce it considerably. For me in terms of strategy it is a perfect match for a retail investor using the Easyequities platform.

This would be interesting. A T-Bill ETF would be a pretty smart investment if you think there's a monster recession coming and you wanted to preserve capital.
