Easy Equities suspended trading

Let's hope that Justin guy or hopefully Romi comes back and clears the air with some honest answers

That's the problem with a thread like this. No rep is going to read through 13 pages to try find questions. I PM'ed him.
 
So nice of them to send an email stating trading is free today for black friday. Thats IF they ALLOW you to trade.
 
ps. I do think that DJ is just stirring.

1.) I do not know him. I do know about some actual big names in the industry that praised EE. So I will rather listen to them.
2.) People used EE as a trading platform. Whether you bought on Friday and tried to sell yesterday. It was Lonmin and everyone was doing the same thing. Everyone was going Lonmin crazy in 24hrs on EE. If you wanted to sell any other share on EE you would not have had a problem.
3.) GT247 has been around for years. Cannot see why EE would be a scam.
4.) Out of all the noob threads the last couple of days, I actually learnt a lot. So I do not think these threads should be deleted because Prophit DJ says so.....
5.) I also think it is my right to decide what is bull on these threads and what is legit. If I cannot differentiate between that then it is my problem.
6.) Lonmin was a gamble. If people lost money then it was their decision.
7.) Calling people Morons and Fools is tasteless

Can someone answer me this single question: how long will I hvat e to wait before i can sell my shares? or whatever, I'm blocked from all share selling, not only lonmin.

Trading is not open yet, I think they open just after 09:05 or something like that.
 
Friend just called in to do a trade, they are NOT allowing any trade on Lonmin shares at the moment, claim its on extended auction, can someone please verify if this is true or not?

Looks to be that. I can't sell Lonmin

I did not call them a scam. Quite the opposite. Read properly! I take issue with the suspension of trading and the excuses they've used. And of course it's your right - unfortunately that right extends to both the up and down side, and there's a lot of downside risk "learning" from people who are themselves complete amateurs and do not understand the nature of trading (which is what you are doing - trading).

My posts regarding investments are all over the forum and the only reason the business and financial section of this forum exists is because I initially agreed to try to look after it, having been in the industry for over a decade. I however cannot, and there is nobody around to do so these days. It is not a suitable place for "advice" and will only serve to cost people money listening to trading advice from the vast majority of people on this forum.

To the topic at hand: there is no reasonable excuse provided by EE as to why they suspended trading in Lonmin. It appears they cannot handle the volatility, and this could only be the reason if they were not simply acting as a facilitator. Bark at me all you like; the facts don't change, and their excuses smell like BS...

My point was that if I have a share for whatever period of time, I should be allowed to trade it regardless of the happenings of the day.
