An air fryer looks a like solid option for something quick and easy as wellI understand the easy meal thing. If it does not involve fire and meat, I draw a blank, freeze and/or panic. I suppose the easiest would be finding a one-pot solution into which you can add vegetables?
We have a Milex pressure cooker. It is the nicest way to do casseroles. I am slowly learning to use it. Make enough one time around and it can last you several meals.
Otherwise, @Hamster has some really solid ideas.
Fire and meat FTW.Fire + meat
Slowcooker + potatoes + chicken
4-8 hours
Burger patties + pan/fire + buns
5 minutes
No2 or No3 pot + meat + potatoes + veggies + (tomato purée + beef stock + wine)
3-4 hours
Woolies ready made lasagna/Mac cheese/whatever. 1kg @ R110-R140 goes a long way, they frequently have "specials"
40 minutes
Chicken cubes/strips + fajita spice + tomato purée with guacamole + sour cream + cheese + taco shells/wraps (or without)
15 minutes?

Bro, I'm married to a wife who can cook up a storm and even we had woolies once sometimes twice a week. It's just ... convenient.Quite a few people have recommended Woolies foods to me now
Do you have a can opener? What are some easy meals to prepare for single person living alone with limited cooking skills?
Agreed on all points, especially on "24/7" food delivery.Microwave:
Eggs: large enough bowl. Pour a bit of oil in bowl - or melt butter first. Crack a few eggs. Add some seasoning/aromat. Cover with Microwave safe cover (cover, don't seal). Let it run for about 4 minutes on Max heat.
Perfect eggs. Just add more seasoning if needed.
Pasta:
Boil Kettle. Pour Pasta in plastic container. Pour boiling water to about 3/4 of container. Add about a teaspoon salt. Stir Pasta first with fork. Add to Microwave for 15 minutes. Also cover with Microwave safe cover (don't seal the lid).
The only way to know if Pasta is cooked is to taste it. So take a fork, grab a piece, blow and taste. If it doesn't taste cooked put it in longer. Strain water immediately after cooked.
You can make Mince and Onions and sauces with your Pasta or Rice.
Rice.
Same. Boil Kettle. Add rice. Add a bit of salt. Add water to about 2/4 of Rice. Let it run for 10 Minutes at a time, check if cooked by tasting and if water is evaporated.
Electrical frying pan (non stick preferred).
Just about what you can think of.
Any meat. Chicken, Beef, Steak, Mince.
Vegetables. Mixed vegetables. Caramelised Onions. The list is endless.
Google.
There's nothing you can't make.
It's really just a simple Google search and using basic ingredients and utensils.
I've cooked for myself for years this way.
Don't waste money on food delivery 24/7. It's unhealthy and not worth it.
Have a Take Away a few times a month if you can afford it.
