EasyPay Number, pay more than amount due?

Hi Guys,

Always looking for ways to increase my eBucks earn I was wondering if the following would work, please forgive if this is a stupid question:-

I am already maxing out my R4k at Checkers so I will pay this using my CC at Pick n Pay. My Electricity bill has an EasyPay number on it. If the balance is R100, can I pay eg: R400? Will the full R400 be allocated to my electricity account or can I only pay the amount due using the EasyPay number?

Yes you can overpay your bills, will just go to credit.

I do it with eskom almost every month, as they to lazy to come and read the meters every month.

Instead of paying @ Pick 'n Pay, pay the bills online with your CC. It will earn you ~5% under the Online Shopping section. I use wallet doc to pay my EasyPay bills.

Thanks VG008, although I am on Gold, so there is no online spend, just the 1.5% credit card purchases.

I am wondering now, is the R15k including the R8k for Checkers and Fuel?
