I dont understand. Why are you guys saying bacon is processed meat? I thought bacon is just meat cut from certain areas of the little piggy such as the tummy? The raw bacon you buy dont look processed at all to me? Processed meat is stulf like polony and viennas not so?

Bacon's just cured pork meat. Trust 'Murica to go overboard on the smoked... and liquid smoked... notion. You only need to compare the colour of what that factory produces to that of a nice pack of local bacon.
