Eating raw eggs

should i take advice from someone who thinks a set is one rep :D :D :D

:p

yeah i do have a shake directly after training.

what are scrambled egg whites like?

/dont think i could stomach salsa

:/

Do people still drink raw eggs? :o

Just buy 24 eggs and boil them all at once. (I actually bough a nice device from Verimark which you can boil 6 eggs in one go already peeled) then just chuck them down through the course of the day. I do about 12 eggs a day no problem. Nice thing about this egg boiling thing is that you can remove the yolk and only boil the white if you so choose.

Pretty epic. Let me see if I can find it online to link it for you.

Edit:
Sorry was from Glomail...

anyway, here you go:

So does he, and MANY other's :p

He is a 3 time letter winner at the University of Arizona (football) and has squatted 1000lbs in competition.

I've always had a preference to low rep/heavy weight training - smolov also ends with 10 sets of 3 at 90% :)

-

Scrambled egg whites taste like crap on their own (or nothing, which is crap) - the Salsa and cheese turns it into a perfect breakfas

I'm more a Medium weight full 3 sets of 10 - 15 reps kind of guy.

Xrapidx, have you ever done 7's on a V bar?
I would love to see someone try that with heavy weights and survive the next few days :p

Here's the actual program I'm currently following, the Body Building accessories are higher rep : http://www.t-nation.com/free_online...aining_performance/how_to_build_pure_strength

The lower rep training is more aimed at powerlifting and strength than body building.

7's - Never with the v-bar, only on biceps (EZ-Bar/Olympic), I'd imagine it'd burn the **** out of me, triceps are the only muscle where I really feel the burn... oh, and quads on leg extension.

My body is wired for low rep, high weight... I'll struggle to do deadlifts @ 60kg - for 10+ reps, but can do 200kg for 3 :p

I'll put it down to muscle fibre's - I'm made out of fast twitch fibres :)

Even squats - there's a challenge on fitocracy "Baby Widowmaker" where you have to do 20 reps... I couldn't do it at 40 and gave up :p and this was before I hurt my hip.

Then there's "Advanced Widowmaker" - I'll never get it - 1.5x body weight for 20 reps...

Its also not fitness levels either...

7's on v-bar would probably be the same as with ez-bar...just with the v-bar for triceps.

It's better known as a curl bar. I call it a V bar due to it's shape.

It's for Bicep curls. 7 halway up, 7 all the way up then 7 halfway down. Do 3 sets of these with a medium weight for your strengh level and between each set you do 20 dips.

No matter how well I think my training is going, when I hit those 7's I'm farked afterwards and might as well go home :D

ah yeah i do 7's but with a normal barbell, last excercise i do on back and bi's day (thursday) and at the end my arms feel like they are going to explode :D

Yea :D Afterdoing 7's it feels like your biceps wants to climb out of your skin. It does making driving home a mission though. 2nd time I ever did it I went with heavy weights as opposed to my mates medium weights. Wanting to make him look stupid. After 3 sets I couldn't lift my arms to drink water  2 days later I couldn't move my arms past 90 degrees. This caused the most painfull muscle pain I have ever had.

That day I learned to keep it nice and simple, you still get a very good workout without killing your muscles and you just progress to bigger weights slowly as opposed to try and build yourself in a month. This formula also worked for everything else. I made the same mistake on my legs and could barely walk for 5 days due to over loading the weights.

Weights are perfect when your about 8 reps in out of 10 in your first set and you feel it burning the last 5 of your 3rd set must be near impossible and you need to really work for those last 5. When you do your first set and you start struggling a then the weights are wrong. The aim is to complete your set out reps per set and complete your sets. If you give up 1/2 way into your second set you're doing it wrong. (This all depends though on the amount of sets you set out to do.) I stick to 3 sets always, that way I'm keeping it constant.

Aim is to complete your sets at all costs. If not it's fruitless

I agree - if I can't complete two weeks in a row, I drop the weights back a notch, as hard as that might be... had to drop so much on this diet, almost gave up on it.

Huh? Custards have been around since the 17th century...

Im talking about cooking. Scrambled egg, sauces, omelettes etc. Milk is generally only their to bulk something up. great if your low on cash, not if your a connoisseur.
