Ebucks + Checkers Voucher question

I noticed on the terms of the voucher:

No change will be given if the value of the purchase for which the voucher is used is less than the value of the voucher.

What I am not sure about is whether you can pay with a voucher + difference in card/cash???

Never bought/used ebucks voucher, so that's why I am asking
