2. Gold accounts - swipes/online/international all earn the normal swipes rate.


Easiest way to get to level 5 on Gold:

Islamic Banking Cheque account - R5500 deposit pm (2 levels)
Gold credit card - R1000 spend pm(1 level)
FNB banking app - 1 financial transaction pm (1 level)

Gets you to level 4

Final level - any 1 of the following:
Savings pocket - R5000 balance, or
R150 pm spend on FNB connect

Welcome to level 5 :)


Note regarding physical vouchers:
You pay only one delivery fee i.e. R55 for a batch of gift cards, not R55 per card.

I'm probably the most screwed person on the board, opened fnb account (at least not for ebucks reasons), started getting ebucks, i might be level 5 this month; then they change the rules :(

Indications are they're reducing the requirements for level 5

Yes but that in turn would make RL5 less valuable and therefore less specials etc.


I prefer not to even think about it until the rules come out officially next week.
