Any takers. I've got 25,000 air miles from Emirates and 25,000 air miles from SAA. Which should allow one to buy 2 domestic return tickets from Cape Town to Johannesburg. I would like to swop this for R4,500 worth of ebucks. I don't know if this is at all possible. Ebucks vouchers for Air tickets but I know you need about 21,000 air miles for a return ticket Cpt to Jozi. I never get to a 100,000 air miles in a short enough time to buy a return ticket overseas and always end up losing most of my miles. And transferring air miles is heavily penalised by the airlines, easier to buy a ticket for someone but you must have the exact total of air miles. Hopefully with my 20% discount this can go along way to getting that PS4 for Xmas. Any advice will be appreciated and if anyone is interested in the air miles they can pm me.

It'll probably be much easier to swop for cash than for 45,000eB. Even if somebody was willing to lose out on their own discounts I doubt anybody has that amount of eBucks just lying around. Regardless...

You may want to think twice about that PS4 unless you are an avid gamer. A new just-released game is gonna set you back R800 (to put it in perspective - 7 brand new or 10 not so new games and you are equating the PS4's cost).

But good luck, nonetheless.

Thanx for the reply. Like you say it might be easier to just pay cash for the ebucks but what to do with the air miles. Can't a person use it for something other than just buying air tickets? I know like Emirates have partners, so you can use your miles to rent a car for instance. I hear what you saying about the PS4, and it is very expensive but so is an Xbox. I'm not an avid gamer but my nephew always come around so it's more for the youngsters.

I meant buy the air ticket and swop it for cash.

You still have to pay in some money when you redeem a ticket. Usually taxes and other charges not included....so not straightforward.
