Anyone in Edenglen, Edenvale area with 10mbs ADSL?

Curious to know as the Telkom 10mbs ADSL checker says it is not available - I dont always believe these things...

Call Telkom and ask them to do a check on your line. Mine says I can't upgrade on the checker, but the people who did an in depth test on the phone say I have 10mb. Yay!

I didn't have 10Mbps till a week ago,best I could get was 3.8,suddenly line reset and bingo bango 10megs synch

I am opposite the Action Cricket. I can only sync at 6Mbps. After numerous phone calls I gave up trying to get pushed up to a higher speed.

UPDATE: Just phoned Telkom. I am on the Isando exchange and the max sync on that exchange is 6Mbps

Which number do you call for them to check? The 0800 375 375 number for support?

I'm in The Glen t/h 4Mbps only, last time when i checked (two weeks ago) they said the exchange hasn't been upgraded yet. This is going on from august now, pathetic. Going to Bulgaria in april for few weeks will enjoy 50Mbps optical the slowest that you can get on optical. There is a special at the moment with the ISP that my parents use 30Mbps R.25 for the first 6 months, next 6 months normal price R.120 you need to sign a contract for a year.
