Edenvale ADSL problems

ADSL Connection Drops and cannot reconnect for a few hours (normally about 5 to 8). Router Line Status shows disconnected and sync speeds are zero. I phone and report the error and by the time the technician arrives (typically the next day) the connection is restored and he tells me there is no problem on the line.
