Edgars Account Error

Hi everyone,

Has anyone else noticed an error on their Edgars account? My statement on their app shows shows that I have a balance of R1672 which is all very perplexing since I paid them R324 last month which settled my account with them. Yet under a national lockdown I somehow spent R1672 in a store that is closed. The statement last month had a ton on airtime purchases from last year which was then immediately reversed.

I barely use this account and only have a credit limit of R2200 but if their systems are going this haywire, I should definitely close the account.

Anyone else having a statement issue?

Just received my statement now. I see they are charging me for airtime vouchers purchased dating back from November last year until today. Last months statement at least reversed the amounts. Suppose this is one way to make money.
Now I am going to have to spend my lunch break phoning these people, hooray

My mom also had this airtime stuff, she closed her account.

They are broke, guess they trying all the tricks now
